Festival of football Sports Illustrated senior writer Gary Smith spent three days in August enjoying a footy-fest in Sydney with two natives. He didn't have much luck convincing his mates that the NFL game measured up to two Australian brands, but he gained a new appreciation for rugby and the Aussie rules variety.
