BIOGRAPHY: Junior-college transfer who started the past two seasons at both tackle spots. All-Conference selection after his junior campaign.

POSITIVES: Strong small-area blocker who uses all his assets to their maximum. Blocks with good lean, quickly gets his hands into defenders, and plays with a nasty attitude. Stays square, effectively uses angles, and rides defenders from the action. Plays smart football and understands body positioning.

NEGATIVES: Average playing strength and does not get much movement from run-blocks. Lacks footwork in space and lateral blocking range.

ANALYSIS: Gibson is a hard-working and tough blocker, but he.s a marginal athlete with limited upside. His ability to play both tackle spots could help him catch on as an inexpensive backup.
